With the return of AFCON, the biggest fiesta of
the continent, Twitter is set to make the matches closer homethan expected. As
the 30th Edition of African Cup of Nations (AFCON)
kicks off in Equatorial Guinea, thereal time, live, and unlimited conversations
within the Twitter community are great tools to update you for this year’s
tournament.
The 2015 African cup of Nations, which will keep
the continent and football loving fans busy for the next 3 weeks will be very
challenging and competitive, as it will parade 16 countries that will trade
tackle for this prestigious trophy.
The last
AFCON in South Africa recorded tens of thousands fans who not only went to
enjoy the football but recorded a big hit on Twitter as they Tweet for live
actions and happenings of the tournament.
This year competition will play host to four
cities: Beta, Ebebiyin, Malabo and Mongomo as of two recorded 2011 when
Equatorial Guinea last hosted
